Family Owned & Operated
Mongold Homes LLC is a family-owned and operated construction and development company. Started by John Mongold in 1977, the business is now owned and operated by his children, Adam and Charity Mongold.
Adam Mongold has been a Construction Superintendent since 2005 but has been working for the company in different capacities since 1998. In addition to his extensive knowledge in custom residential construction, he has a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University with a concentration in design.
Charity Mongold is the Office Manager that oversees administrative tasks. She also heads the sales department and sees to it that each home buyer gets the best quality materials and services at the best prices available. Charity is also a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science and a concentration in Business.
John Mongold lost his battle with cancer on April 11th, 2012. Though he is greatly missed, he is always in our thoughts and prayers and the skills and ethics that he instilled in us continue to be our driving force. We are truly blessed to have been able to live with, learn from, and know him.
Mongold Homes on HGTV’s My Lottery Dream Home!
We here at Mongold Homes are excited to share about our involvement in a hit TV show on HGTV! A beautiful home we built back in 2017 was featured as the winning pick on My Lottery Dream Home!
We constructed this Willow plan as a ‘spec’ with many hand-built details before we knew it would be part of the show. You can imagine how proud we were to later find that our hard work would be featured on national television! Check out your On Demand programming for “Lucky in Louisville” Season 2, Episode 4.
The Wood Shop
Did you know we operate a fully functioning wood shop alongside our office? We make many of our custom built-in features ourselves, in-house, including custom requests from clients!
